Candidate Statement
COMMITTED TO SERVING GLADSTONE
For the past two years I have been participating in the Gladstone City government on the Budget, Audit, and Traffic Safety Committees and volunteering at numerous community events. I was recently appointed to Gladstone City Council Position #3. I have voted to support extending the Urban Renewal boundary to enable revitalization efforts in our community without increasing tax rates. I really love living in Gladstone and am excited for the opportunity to serve the city and its residents. I am committed to making sure that Gladstone welcomes all people equally and supports a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community.
PRIORITIES
Make sure that Gladstone is a welcoming community for all residents regardless of age, gender, race, religion or abilities.
Ensure that Gladstone is run with fiscal responsibility so that we can effectively plan for the future.
Continue our support for the Gladstone Police, Fire, Library and Community spaces.
Support our Parks and make our outdoor spaces accessible to everyone.
Help revitalize our Downtown area and continue to make it a place where we can shop, eat, and enjoy year round.
Support our infrastructure needs so that we can keep up with Gladstone’s future growth.
Work to make Gladstone an affordable community while supporting our roads, water, sewer, and energy needs.
I am eager to continue to support Gladstone and respectfully ask for your vote.
