PHILOSOPHY

Candidate Statement

COMMITTED TO SERVING GLADSTONE

For the past two years I have been participating in the Gladstone City government on the Budget, Audit, and Traffic Safety Committees and volunteering at numerous community events.  I was recently appointed to Gladstone City Council Position #3. I have voted to support extending the Urban Renewal boundary to enable revitalization efforts in our community without increasing tax rates.  I really love living in Gladstone and am excited for the opportunity to serve the city and its residents. I am committed to making sure that Gladstone welcomes all people equally and supports a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community.

PRIORITIES

  • Make sure that Gladstone is a welcoming community for all residents regardless of age, gender, race, religion or abilities.

  • Ensure that Gladstone is run with fiscal responsibility so that we can effectively plan for the future.

  • Continue our support for the Gladstone Police, Fire, Library and Community spaces.

  • Support our Parks and make our outdoor spaces accessible to everyone.

  • Help revitalize our Downtown area and continue to make it a place where we can shop, eat, and enjoy year round.

  • Support our infrastructure needs so that we can keep up with Gladstone’s future growth.

  • Work to make Gladstone an affordable community while supporting our roads, water, sewer, and energy needs.

I am eager to continue to support Gladstone and respectfully ask for your vote.
